We are passionate about recognizing and acting on God’s mission already at work in the greater Camden Webber community with a solid vision for urban youth work.
God’s Mission:
John 10:10 “I came so that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Our Vision:
Youth and our families need Jesus. Our world (in our case- urban) is full of ups and downs and as we experience life, we find hope in Jesus Christ. God is loose in the world and calls us to the following intergenerational/ multicultural youth and family ministry areas at Salem:
1. Senior High Ministry
2. Junior High Ministry
3. Christian Education
4. Family Ministry
Our vision is to foster mature Christian young people through Word, Service, Outreach, Stewardship, and Fun.
God is MYSTERIOUS as we emphasize spiritual growth, discipleship, and vocation.

To promote the whole people of God who…
seek spiritual growth. Who possess a vital faith keenly aware of God’s presence and activity in one’s life, the lives of others, and the life of the world. Who practice an active faith in Jesus Christ. Who make the Christian faith a way of life. Who live a life of service of caring for others and addressing injustice. Who reach out to others. Who speak publicly about faith. And finally, someone who possesses a positive spirit of love and hope towards others and life.
